About GreenScape Landscaping
San Diego's sustainable landscaping partner since 2007.
Beautiful landscapes that respect the environment.
GreenScape Landscaping was founded in 2007 by landscape architect Carlos Rivera after years of watching San Diego homeowners pour water onto lawns that didn't belong in a Mediterranean climate. He believed there was a better way, landscapes that are beautiful, functional, and water-smart.
Over 18 years and 1,200+ projects later, GreenScape has become San Diego County's go-to firm for sustainable outdoor design. We specialize in drought-tolerant native plantings, efficient irrigation systems, and outdoor living spaces that extend your home into nature.
Every GreenScape project starts with a site analysis and water budget. We design with your local microclimate, soil conditions, and sun exposure in mind, because a landscape that works with nature, not against it, thrives for decades with minimal maintenance.
