At Woodland Goods Co., sustainability isn't a marketing buzzword, it's an engineering constraint. Every product we design must meet three criteria: it must perform as well or better than conventional alternatives, it must be made from recycled or organic materials, and it must be repairable so it never ends up in a landfill.
85% of our materials are recycled or organically sourced. Our flagship Trail Pack uses 100% recycled ripstop nylon and a recycled aluminum frame. Our Trail Runner Jacket is made from ocean-bound plastic collected from coastal communities in Southeast Asia. Our Merino Base Layers use ZQ-certified wool from regenerative farms in New Zealand.
We publish a full material breakdown for every product on our website, including the factory name, country of origin, and certification status of every material. Our factories are SA8000 certified for worker safety and fair wages, and we conduct annual on-site audits to verify compliance.
Through our partnership with One Tree Planted, we've planted over 50,000 trees across 12 countries. We offset 100% of shipping emissions through Gold Standard verified carbon credits. And as a certified B Corp and 1% for the Planet member, we donate 1% of annual revenue to environmental nonprofits focused on trail preservation and reforestation.
